Students in Aylesbury Grammar School's 'Japan Club' took part in a calligraphy workshop in order to learn more about writing Japanese characters.
Led by an experienced calligrapher, the students were able to deepen their recognition of Japanese characters, as well as gaining an interest in the specialist equipment used for calligraphy. This special opportunity motivated the students to learn Japanese language and culture further.
