A series of workshops for children at youth clubs and communities centres in and around Glasgow, including taiko drumming and origami. Participants were encouraged to go on to perform at the coinciding Matsuri events which were organised to take place in the spring and summer with the aim of educating people in the local communities in Japanese culture and heritage.
Japanese Calligraphy Workshop
A calligraphy workshop for students to learn more about writing Japanese characters, led by a specialist.

Foyle Obon Festival 2022
The annual Foyle Obon Festival welcomed the Hannari Japanese Dance group and Japanese storyteller, Masako Carey to the lineup, engaging audience members of all ages.
