A special day organised at Giles School in Lincolnshire to enable year 7 and 8 students to experience various aspects of life in Japan through activities such as Japanese tea ceremony, wearing kimono, writing haiku, sushi making, calligraphy and language taster sessions. Building on previous learning, these activities allowed students to further their knowledge and understanding of Japan.
