Project:
Following previous successful ‘Japan Day’ events, the Japan Society North West (JSNW) organised their 7th Japan Day, this time taking place in Manchester.
The event was free to attend and included music and dance performances such as Shamisen, Awa Odori, Koto and Taiko drumming, as well as Martial Arts demonstrations, a Cosplay competition, craft and food stalls and much more.
The event was significant in the calendar of Manchester, and allowed the Japan Society North West to give the many groups that study and practice Japanese related skills and abilities a good stage to show their skills and enthusiasm for Japan.
